James Wilkins

 

 

 

James H. Wilkins has an extensive trial practice emphasizing the prosecution and defense of high exposure and complex cases including matters involving insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, and business litigation.

Mr. Wilkins represents clients in alleged fraud, unfair business practices and insurance coverage disputes of all types. He has been a speaker at numerous legal seminars throughout the state. Mr. Wilkins has also served as an adjunct professor of insurance law at San Joaquin College of Law.

Mr. Wilkins also has extensive experience with civil appeals, having handled matters in various appellate courts throughout California and the California Supreme Court. In addition, Mr. Wilkins has handled appeals in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Wilkins' work has earned him the highest rating ("AV") from Martindale Hubbell and repeated recognition as a "Northern California Super Lawyer" by the San Francisco Magazine.
